PA-99-N2, also known as MEGA-ML 7, is a distant extragalactic 0.5 Solar mass red dwarf star about 2,200,000 light-years away in the constellation Andromeda. In 1999, the star was detected via gravitational microlensing in the direction of the Andromeda Galaxy. In 2003, a reanalysis of the microlensing event PA-99-N2 found that it could be explained by a 0.5 Solar mass star and a 6.34 Jupiter mass planet, which the possible planet is yet to be confirmed.
