HD 18438, also known as HR 881, is a binary star system consisting of a star in the red giant phase and an F-type subgiant, located 734 light-years from Earth. Component A (that is, HD 18438 A) has a super-Jupiter or a brown dwarf, with a mass about 21 times that of Jupiter.
