HD 209458 is a Sun-like star about 157.8 light-years away in the constellation Pegasus. It hosts a well-studied hot Jupiter (nicknamed "Osiris"), which in 1999 was the first exoplanet ever observed to transit its host star, and in 2007 became the first exoplanet to have water vapor detected in its atmosphere. This addon includes a fictional texture for the planet that's in approximate true color based on spectra.
