TOI-849 is a Sun-like star about 741 light-years away in the constellation Fornax. In 2020, a very massive Neptune-sized planet about 40 times the mass of Earth was found circling in an 18.37 hour-long orbit, speculated to be an evaporating core of a former gas giant planet
