KMT-2020-BLG-0414L is a white dwarf star accompanied by a brown dwarf, about 4,300 light-years away in the constellation Sagittarius. A cold rocky planet slightly larger than Earth orbits about 2 AU from the star. As the first confirmed terrestrial planet around a white dwarf, it serves as an analog for Earth in the far future, when the Sun becomes a white dwarf.
