Iota Draconis, also known as 12 Draconis, HD 137759, and Edasich, is a K-type giant star (K2III) with a mass 1.6 times that of the Sun and an age of 2.5 billion years. It is located in the constellation Draco near the northern circumpolar region, 101.2 light-years away from Earth. This expanded star has two massive planets. Planet b was announced in 2002 and named Hypatia (NameExoWorld I) in December 2015. In 2021, another long-period planet or brown dwarf was discovered. Both of these planets or brown dwarfs have relatively high eccentricities.
