The Serpens-Aquila Rift is a large area of the sky which is filled with interstellar clouds. Inside these clouds there are a few star-forming nebulae, namely Westerhout 40, Serpens South, Serpens Main (and the clusters within it, SVS 2 and SVS 4), the MWC 297 Asociation and Serpens NH3.
