HD 41004 is a binary star system composed of a K-type star and a red dwarf, located about 137 light-years from Earth. Component A (left) has a gas giant planet with a mass about 2.54 times that of Jupiter, while component B (right) has a low-mass brown dwarf with an orbital period of less than two Earth days.
