HD 143811, also known as HIP 78663, is a binary star system located in the constellation Lupus, consisting of an F-type main-sequence star and a G-type main-sequence star. The two stars orbit each other in 18.59 days, with both having higher mass and temperature than the Sun. It is about 446 light-years away from the Solar System. In 2025, two independent teams discovered an exoplanet orbiting this system using direct imaging technology. The planet has a mass of approximately 6.1 times that of Jupiter, orbits around both stars, and takes 319 years to complete one orbit.
