C/2024 G3 (ATLAS) is a non-periodic comet that became visible to the naked eye in January 2025, almost three months after Tsuchinshan–ATLAS. It reached magnitude –3.8 at its maximum brightness, and remained visible to the naked eye until early February 2025 despite its disintegration, unofficially becoming the "Great Comet of 2025"
